South Waterfront

The South Waterfront Neighborhood Emergency Team (SoWa NET) is a volunteer arm of the Portland Bureau of Emergency Management (PBEM), tasked with providing emergency assistance to save lives and property in its assigned area when deployed by PBEM until the arrival of professional responders. This NET covers the area from the Ross Island Bridge on the north to Bancroft Street on the south, and from Interstate 5 on the west to the Willamette River on the east.

MEETINGS

We meet the first Thursday of every other month at 7:00 p.m., every other month (Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sep, Nov) via Zoom or as a hybrid of Zoom and in-person at a location to be announced.  All are welcome are welcome to attend, whether or not one is NET-certified.
