The NET program is organized by the Portland Bureau of Emergency Management (PBEM) and training is provided by Portland Fire & Rescue, but ultimately we are a volunteer organization. Teams do not receive direct funding from the City. Each team is left to organize and plan for its own emergency operations. Donations allow us to do community outreach and purchase supplies/equipment.
We are a 501c3 organization, so your donation is tax deductible. We appreciate cash or in-kind donations of goods/services. View our Equipment Needs list for some examples of items that might be useful to our teams.
